We’ve talked about The Hunt previously on the article which you can find here.
All the basics from earning to fighting to enjoying were tackled there which brings us to the next topic brilliantly named…
The Hunt – Extreme
What’s the difference between “The Hunt” from its well-endowed brother dubbed Extreme?
Well for starters, there’s a lot of variations from its predecessor. And to tell you the truth, they are more likely called improvements rather than the unwelcomed word of deviance. Having the “Extreme” version is inevitable and would most likely to happen due to our constant hunger for challenges and deep desires for greed. But who are we to judge, right?
There are a lot of improvements from the basic gameplay of The Hunt including how to enter, Daily Tasks, kind of gameplay, equipment, and of course, prizes. We’ll discuss each one below.
The Entry Ticket
From the 1x bounty required via entry of The Hunt, the Extreme version now needs 10x bounties and 500 coins. Aside from that item and price inflation, the entering Chibi should also be on level 5. On the bright side, every time a Chibi participates, it, or for gender-sensitive human beings, he will receive a health potion. Sounds like a reasonable deal.
Come to think of it, Daily Tasks are your primary source of gems in the game. Longtime players already know that these tasks vary each day sometimes involving coin or ETHShard battles while some requiring fusions and other activities found within the walls of the game.
For those new to the franchise, Daily tasks provide an easy option to earn ETH (Ethereum) via completing the listed objectives which refreshes every 24 hours as indicated below the interphase. Amount of gems depends on the difficulty in finishing a particular task. Take for example these fusions which rake in more gems versus coin battles as the latter requires more kaching and elbow grease.
In the case of The Hunt – Extreme, certain events are added like defeating the piggy, beat a number of foes, or by defeating a boss. In essence, these are added bonus while you are out there enjoying the game. It’s like literally you are getting paid just to play the game. Sounds too good to be true? Well, do we have to rub it in your face? Kidding.
We assume you have the slightest idea on how The Hunt works by now so without further delay, here are the upcoming challenges in the Extreme edition:
The Hunt – Extreme runs through 50 waves. Each wave is relatively harder than the Orks we’ve witnessed in the ordinary Hunt. You are asking why? Because we like to keep people on edge, that’s why. Besides, what kind of a gamer if he or she (we’re not judging here) is not up for the thrill?
Technically speaking, a normal Ork in the Extreme has more “experience” than the prequel version of the game. See our emphasis on the “experience?” We would like to shed light on this matter by saying that these meaner Orks are level 5. Talk about a wrong time to have lost your potions.
The Occasional Boss
Also, remember the Boss you encountered by wave 75 in The Hunt? Well, he’s back and worse than ever because he called in three more of his friends who are just like him. For the rookies, the boss in The Hunt replenishes its life after three Chibi deaths or tries. Now multiply that monstrosity by four, and you get what you paid for in The Extreme.
The Big Boss
Of course, they are never gonna leave us bored by the end of the slaughter run albeit a new formidable main boss is waiting for you at the gates of hell called level 50. Honestly speaking, it may indeed sound like hell considering that it takes an average of 20 tries before you can defeat the gargantuan.
Strategically combining equipment and stats would do the trick but it takes a lot of patience. You must be thinking: why go through all this trouble? Well, when the dust settles, and the enemy is slain, the payout is much more rewarding.
There is also a new set of equipment released simultaneously which ranges from level 3 to level 5 which is only wearable by a Chibi who is also level 3 to 5. To top that off, there are also new legendary items to be released which really keeps us hanging by a thread!
